Great to hear Alanah Yukich's Olympic pathway and celebrate her outstanding achievements.
Robbie Gaspar interviewed Alanah and discussed her early beginnings in Athletics' through to her Olympic qualification and outstanding performances.
Alanah’s road to the Olympics was nothing short of intense, competing across five countries on two continents in just 15 days to clinch her spot.
Alanah’s Olympic journey to the 400m hurdles semi-finals in Paris highlighted the power of form and discipline. She emphasized that mastering technique, staying focused, and practising consistently are key to success—outweighing natural ability and helping her overcome challenges under pressure.
But her success doesn’t end there. Off the field, she’s equally impressive—earning an undergraduate degree in business, with a minor in psychology, followed by a master’s, all while training full-time. Balancing the rigours of elite sport and academics, Alanah sets an amazing standard for aspiring athletes. It was also great and to have some State and National aspiring athletes celebrate with us to hear about Alanah's Dream become reality.
We wish her the very best with her future events.
